The new Fordham University Law School and Residence Hall is a combination law school building and undergraduate residence hall located on Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus. The 22-story, 459,000 sf high-rise is part of the first phase of a $1.6 billion redevelopment plan. The law school will be situated on the first 9 floors, and the remaining floors will comprise campus housing for up to 430 students. At the podium is the law school, which will feature audio- and video-enhanced classrooms, lecture halls, seminar and conference rooms, a 2-story atrium, a moot and trial court facility, and a 562,000-volume law library. The building exterior will be composed of cast stone, metal, and glass. This is a structural steel and concrete metal decking superstructure at the podium level, and the tower is composed of staggered trusses and precast plank.
