The Renwick was designed by its namesake James Renwick Jr., the famed 19th century architect. Carefully preserving the building’s intricately detailed façade, and conserving and relocating old cherry columns were the greatest challenges in reconstructing and expanding the original loft building into a 69-unit luxury cooperative, and creating a 50’ atrium as part of a new centralized courtyard.
