The Hampton Inn at JFK Airport is the third hotel completed by Gotham for Field Associates, an 114,000 sf, 216-room, core pre-cast concrete structure. The lobby combines cherry millwork and prefabricated Corian accents. Hotel amenities include a breakfast room, conference room, sky-lit solarium, and fitness center. Comprehensive site-work was part of the scope and included laying asphalt, pouring the sidewalk and curb cuts, lighting, and a parking portico. Landscaping consists of an assimilated dry riverbed with a 24-type stone pathway. The project is connected to the Holiday Inn at JFK, also built by Gotham, via a 40’ long connector tunnel constructed of concrete block and glass windows, and provides for cross-use of each of the hotels’ amenities.
