Columbia University retained Gotham’s construction management services for this 13-story, 147,000 sf new faculty residence located on the northeast corner of Broadway and West 103rd Street, the university’s southernmost outpost. The project’s 83 residences were designed for occupancy by Columbia faculty and post doctoral researchers. The project also features 29,000 sf of ground and cellar floor retail space. The exterior walls are comprised of brick and stone, and there is a set back at the 6th floor allowing for an outer perimeter of oversized private terraces. The individual units feature condo-level finishes, including spacious layouts, four-piece bathrooms, granite kitchens, solid core doors, and wood strip flooring.
