Gotham is currently serving as construction manager for 801 Amsterdam Avenue, a 15-story, 166,000 sf mixed-use residential building located at the southeast corner of West 100th Street. The project is comprised of 100 high-end rental apartment units, a luxurious lobby entrance, a world class gym and landscaped roof garden. There is also 16,000 sf of parking and 50,000 sf retail space on the first 2 floors, complete with escalators and elevators. The structure consists of a 2-story steel framed podium with a multiple story concrete structure above it.  Logistical controls have played a prominent role in the construction of this building with a 50 foot deep foundation into bedrock and the near proximity to an adjacent playground, a century-old church, neighboring elementary school, and combination police-firehouse precinct located across the street.
