Stellar Management and The Chetrit Group retained Gotham’s construction management services to oversee the construction of 808 Columbus Avenue, a retail complex that spans three continuous blocks between West 97th & 100th Streets. When complete, it will be one of the largest retail destinations in Manhattan containing over 220,000 sf of retail space on 2 floors, offering an unprecedented amount of contiguous commercial space, complete with 23’ ceilings, 700’ of frontage along a major avenue, four (4) loading docks, and 36’ column spans. The project will house a number of nationally recognized retailers, including a 56,000 sf Whole Foods Market. Each space is being delivered as core and shell, enabling each retailer the flexibility to perform customized build-outs. Delivery of space is in accordance to base building work letters that include numerous slab penetrations for vertical transportation fit-outs.
